Uzbek dinner with Guzal Said

I’ve been dreaming about this for ages, and it’s finally happening! I’m super excited to bring another amazing chef to Vilnius – Guzal Said, the founder of Butter Dinner Club in Riga. She’s originally from Uzbekistan and is ready to treat us to a traditional Uzbek family-style dinner with some Middle Eastern and Turkish twists!

What inspired the menu? Definitely my grandma's house and our traditional gathering around food. It usually happens on the carpet with mattresses on it and tablecloth in the middle with the selection of different foods served on small plates. The bazaars have also impacted me a lot as they present what they sell in a very attractive way.

Imagine lounging on comfy pillows around a low table on a cozy carpet, snacking on dips, fresh salads, and traditional Uzbek bites. The main star of the night - mouthwatering meat and veggies dish (DIMLAMA). All served to share, with wine and special cocktails created for this dinner. And just when you think you’re full, we’ll serve up sweet treats with tea—Uzbek style!

It's going to be a night full of deliciousness, good vibes, and all the best company. Hope you can make it!
