HARVEST DINNER AT REDBRICK
After two years, we’re finally having our harvest dinner at RED BRICK! The timing couldn't be better, as they've just been awarded a GREEN MICHELIN STAR for their modern, hyper-seasonal menu that fully embraces sustainability by growing their own produce right on the farm.
To make the most of this experience, we've included an overnight stay, brunch the next day (maybe even a boozy one!), and a small harvest on the farm.
We'll begin our evening with snacks by the bonfire:
Summer Ragout
Tomato & Aged Cheese
Chicken & Squash
Then, we’ll move to their beautiful kitchen to taste a variety of raw or lightly cooked farm produce.
Next, we’ll start the main portion of the dinner with three individual starters:
Chawanmushi & Wild Mushrooms
Beef, Cucumber & Ponzu
Pumpkin, Onion & Coffee
And then… (tadaaaa!!) the main course will be served in my favorite style – family-style, with everything to share:
Proper BIG Steaks
A variety of grilled vegetables from the farm
A selection of farm vegetables as side dishes
We’ll finish the meal with a refreshing dessert:
Lemon Verbena, Beetroots & Apple Sorbet
Just kidding… that's not the end yet! We’ll return to the bonfire for more sweet bites:
Mushroom & Pine
Kleina
Pâte de Fruit
Quince & Plum
And then… cocktails, music, and a party in the kitchen!
The next day, we'll enjoy a beautiful brunch, take a leisurely stroll around the farm, do a bit of harvesting, and gather some little goodie bags to take home!
