DMV Kepykla together with Another Bite Food Club presents an exclusive, a year-awaited dinner with a chef and a good friend - Jackson Berg.
British Chef Jackson Berg is head chef and co-owner of Barletta, located in the Turner Contemporary art gallery as well as newly opened wine bar Sète, both in the super trendy UK seaside town of Margate. Jackson will be leaving his own restaurants for one night to come to Vilnius for an exclusive pop-up dinner together with Another Bite and DMV! Jackson is known for his ability to put a minimum amount of ingredients into the dish and focus primarily on the quality of the product rather than elaborate garnishes and intricate plating. He is always surprising with a contemporary approach using the finest local ingredients.
Jackson started at Jamie Oliver’s “Restaurant Fifteen” from where he quickly progressed with his innovative and not overly complicated style of cooking. During his career he worked at Soho House’ Ketners, the Michelin starred restaurant St. John - the cradle of contemporary English cooking, not to mention stints as a catering consultant for the likes of Louis Vuitton and so on.
The dinner will take place at one of my favorite places in Vilnius - DMV Paupys! Open kitchen, long communal tables, and cozy candles make it a perfect place for social dinners! DMV owners Barbora and Vilius are long-term friends of Jackson from their years living in London, so we will reunite old friends and meet new ones in a relaxed vibe dinner!
After a great success last year, this year Jackson Berg x DMV will host two dinners at the same day! First one with 3 courses menu at 6pm & second one with 6 courses Full Experience at 8:30pm!
